Before engaging any expenses (consultation or hospitalisation of less than 24 hours), you must imperatively call the assistance centre and obtain its prior agreement. You can find the phone number on the assistance card in your policyholder area or by calling them directly via the Chapka application (only an internet connection is required).

Be sure to include the following information when you call:

- Insurance policy number (on your insurance certificate)

- Your location

- Telephone number where you can be reached easily and quickly.

- Nature of the assistance you require

In order to be reimbursed, you will be asked to provide the following documents:

- Detailed treatment invoices with proof of payment

- Medical prescriptions

- Copy of your visa (for the 1st claim only)

- Copy of your identity document

- BANK DETAILS

- Police report in the event of an accident

- Hospital report in the event of hospitalisation and/or a visit to A&E (specifying the reason for your visit, current treatment and treatment to be continued).

We would remind you that you will need to take the necessary steps with your social security, your mutual insurance company or any provident organisation in order to be reimbursed .  Your insurance policy will pay either in addition or in full, depending on the response you receive.

Please note: Only emergency services that have been requested and agreed in advance by the assistance centre and organised in agreement with the centre will be covered by the insurance company.

Tip: In the event of a minor problem, you should opt for teleconsultation. You won't have to pay anything in advance, and you'll reduce the waiting time you might have to endure with a physical consultation.
